Wade, I love the pictures of you making the Pasties. I am so impressed by your culinary skills. I appreciate all the work that goes into making them. My kitchen looked like the one you were working in with the rolling pin, flour, and six inch plate for cutting the dough. My meat and veggie filling looked like yours too, so it seems I must have done everything right when I made them, thanks to your great recipe. By the way, how did you like them? I think they have a definite Australian flavor! Did Granddad take the photos of you assembling them? The photos are so pretty and colorful, nice enough to be in a food magazine!
